Nancy Springer é uma autora americana de fantasia, literatura para jovens adultos, mistério e ficção científica. Seu romance Larque on the Wing ganhou o Prêmio Tiptree em 1994. Ela também recebeu o Prêmio Edgar dos Escritores de Mistério da América por seus romances Toughing It em 1995 e Procurando Jamie Bridger em 1996. Uma autora prolífica, ela escreveu mais de cinquenta livros ao longo de uma carreira que se estendeu por quase quatro décadas.
